SarigSongs, located in the Flatiron district of Manhattan, NYC, was founded by Tom Sarig in 2008, President of established management and consulting company Esther Creative Group. Tom had been a major label and indie label Senior A&R Exec for about 12 years before founding Esther Creative Group to manage artists, and has been fortunate enough to work with and represent some of the most uniquely great and special artists in the world, including Lou Reed, The Gaslight Anthem, Bryan Ferry, CAKE, Rickie Lee Jones, Le Tigre, Blonde Redhead, She Wants Revenge, Against Me!, DIIV, The Drums, Kishi Bashi, Electric Youth, Friends and several others.
SarigSongs publishes hundreds of the recorded works of the 20th Century's greatest and most renowned poet Allen Ginsberg and has been expanding our scope of work with with a few more choice contemporary artists. With SarigSongs we are building a company that aims to be more service-oriented than the traditional publisher, and to create a company that can serve as a safe haven and like-minded community for gifted songwriters. While creating and collecting publishing revenues for its songwriters, SarigSongs' staff also makes itself available to guide and counsel developing artists in all facets of their careers in music, we are happy to give some general career advice. What is key to making SarigSongs special is that, while being a boutique and focused publishing company, we offer all of the services of a major publisher -- including collections of publishing royalties throughout every major territory of the world, as well as a heavy emphasis on television, film, and commercial synchronization licensing. SarigSongs royalty collections are handled worldwide by Kobalt, the multinational powerhouse, and our relationship with Kobalt enables us to track and check in real time the publishing royalties earnings on any of our artist writers.
